Questions about an official Johnson County docket, document, or setting belong with the clerk or court that keeps the case. This private reference site cannot access a file, change a date, or issue a certified copy. The routes below distinguish District Clerk records from County Clerk records and identify the official counter, telephone, email, mail, and online options.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. Johnson County Court Docket cannot retrieve records, accept filings, change settings, remove cases, issue certified copies, or give legal advice. Contact the responsible clerk or trial court directly.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Choose the custodian based on the court and case type:

  • District Court felony, civil, or family docket: contact District Clerk Will Keeton at 817-556-6839, fax 817-556-6120, or JCDC@johnsoncountytx.org
  • County Court or County Court at Law record: contact County Clerk April Long at 817-556-6323 or use ccresearch@jocotx.org for research questions
  • Online case search: use the official Johnson County Odyssey portal, then contact the correct clerk if a case or image is missing
  • Statewide registered research: use re:SearchTX for cases, filings, document text, and hearings, then verify locally
  • Justice or municipal case: contact the precinct or city court that created the docket

Both county court-record offices operate from the Guinn Justice Center, 204 South Buffalo Avenue, Cleburne, Texas 76033. The District Clerk publishes weekday hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The County Clerk notes a noon to 1:00 p.m. closure. Call before travel because record age, copy type, and the counter queue can affect service.

Mail requests should identify the court, cause number if known, case caption, exact document, desired copy type, return address, and a contact number. Ask the clerk about current payment and postage procedures before mailing. Do not send sensitive personal data by email unless the office confirms a secure route. Official-record terminals at the Historic Courthouse and Burleson Sub-Courthouse are not confirmed court-docket kiosks.
